Change your Life.
I’ve participated in some sort of physical activity my whole life. As a child I always found the most rewarding activities were those that drove me to be better and were fun. As an adult we are so much harder on ourselves. We workout to look a certain way and sometimes we forget that there are wonderful moments to be had if we just took a deep breathe and feel the strength of our bodies. If we did it for the passion and the way it makes us feel. We would find that point where we want more because it makes us happy.
It’s so strange the relationship we have with our body. In fact I have found so many similarities between our personal relationships we have with ourselves and been in a relationship with someone else. We all know how relationships work. They take building a strong foundation and nurturing. We have to accept that not everyday is going to be perfect. But some days are going to be amazing days where you have a PR (personal record) and then there are days where our trust is broken and we sustain an irreparable injury and forced to leave the sport we love and move onto something else.
The important thing is we move on and don’t quit.
Whatever sport you find your bliss in, treasure your accomplishments. Try new things and date! You may surprise yourself. If you love something you’ll stick with it. Change the way you view your workouts. Set goals, have an inspiration board. Make friends who enjoy your sport of choice and make it a lifestyle. Do something. Your health is the only thing you truly have!

I am off to my Vipassana
Hi everyone. I have not posted in a while. I got hit with a bad cold through most of January. I think with all of the traveling it finally caught up to me. So I did not run, go to Taekwondo, lift weights or anything. I did go to one yoga class.
My knee pain continued when I got back from vacation so I decided to take a break from running for a while. This means I will definitely not be ready for the Surf City 10k. It makes me sad. But something was going on, and it was just getting worst. Now that I have taken a break for a little while it is starting to feel normal again. Currently there is no pain when I try to move it.
Today I am leaving to go to my Vipassana. I will not be posting while I am away. But am excited about being renewed and refreshed when I get back.
I will be leaving here in like 20 minutes. I have a 5 hour drive ahead of me, in a rain storm. Send me good thoughts.
